TURKEY, Mardin, 01 October 2020. Halise (18) poses in their house in Istasyon neighbourhood in Mardin, where thousands of Syrian refugees live together with host community. They fled from Kobani (in northern Syria) to Turkey in 2013.

Halise (18) married with Ali (20) 6 months ago. She is pregnant now; she believes her daughter will bring luck in their life. She is planing to call her ‘Ferah’ meaning like ‘spacious’.
