ISRAEL. Jerusalem. August 7, 2014. Khams Abu Hasireh, 33 years old in Makassed Hospital in East Jerusalem. Married with four children. 2 girls and 2 boys. He is from the Gaza City Port. He works with Jawwal (cell phone company) and was in Shujaeyeh to fix an antenna so people have communication abilities. He went to visit a friend of his in Sheikh Eijleen. On his way to the car out of his friend’s house (after the visit), he heard something, looked up and saw the missile. 2 of his friends were killed.
Right leg amputated. 3 fractures in arm. Loss of hearing in right side. Shrapnel wounds throughout his body including his back. Stomach trauma. He required 5 surgeries all together. 3 of them were conducted in Gaza. His friend said, “I don’t understand the weapons that would do this. That would leave so many holes in you. We are a weapons lab.”
