KENYA. 2004. Moisture held by the air condenses and falls as rain or forms low clouds from
which forest vegetation such as the Erica Forest, on the upper slopes of the Kilimanjaro, can extract moisture through condensation. This phenomenon helps increase the water flow. Unfortunately, numerous forest fires and illegal logging threaten this vital natural process.
