JAPAN. FUKUSHIMA Prefecture. At the edge of the 20km exclusion zone around the damaged nuclear power station at Fukushima Daiichi, inside which no one is alowed to live or enter without a government permit.
Inside the exclusion zone where all the houses have been evacuated. With Mr Hoshi and his son Leo who are concerned to feed and rescue animals that have been abandoned even though it is illegal.
Mrs Yoko Satoh had 8 cats that she had to leave behind in Tomieoka Town when she was moved out. She comes back looking for them and inspecting her old home. She has no idea when she may come back to her home to live, if ever.
