Peter Marlow was commissioned by LOCOG, the London Organising Committee for the Olympic Games 2012 to produce a series of advertisements and communications with the advertising agency McCann Erickson, for a national campaign to attract volunteers for the 2012 games. In total the campaign attracted 240,000 applicants for 70,000 volunteer positions who will work in a huge variety of roles during the London games. The campaign was photographed in many of the proposed venues for the events, and illustrated the roles the volunteers will be playing. The Manchester Velodrome.
