Stuart Franklin
UK. Scotland. The assembly of the aircraft carrier HMS Queen Elizabeth at Rosyth, Fife. The ship is one of two carriers to be built by 2020. The ships are each 280 metres long and displace 65,000 tonnes, making them the largest in the history of the Royal Navy. The ships are being delivered by the Aircraft Carrier Alliance, a unique partnering relationship between Babcock, BAE Systems, Thales UK and the UK Ministry of Defence. 2013.
