The London Eye is a giant Ferris wheel on the South Bank of the River Thames in London. Also known as the Millennium Wheel, its official name was originally published as the British Airways London Eye, then the Merlin Entertainments London Eye, then the EDF Energy London Eye and is currently called the London Eye.

Westminster is an area of central London within the City of Westminster on the north bank of the River Thames. Westminster's concentration of visitor attractions and historic landmarks, is one of the highest in London.
Historically the area lay within St Margaret's Parish, City & Liberty of Westminster, Middlesex.

The name Westminster originated from an ancient description of Westminster Abbey's surrounds, literally West Minster or, before the abbey, monastery church. It has been the home of England's government continuously since about 1200 and is now the seat of British government.

Westminster often refers to the Parliament of the United Kingdom, which is located in the UNESCO World Heritage Palace of Westminster also known as the Houses of Parliament.
