Ukraine. Ternopil. Petrykhiv. 2014. Eighty girls live in near isolation in the Petrykhiv Children's building, a Soviet institution built in the 1960s to house girls with mental disabilities. Once a month they're permitted to leave the premises. They go shopping, eat pizza, and bowl.
