Iran’s construction sector is massive, and the sanctions have largely
contributed to its growth. As measures designed by the United States Treasury in 2010 started forcing international banks to close foreign accounts of Iranians, money started flowing back into the Islamic republic. Real estate is traditionally a safe investment here. Now that sanctions will be lifted many expect even more growth for the construction sector, as expat Iranians and foreigners can potentially invest in the sector.
