USA. Brandon, Mississippi. September 3, 2005. Steeple of historical Presbyterian Church blown off the roof. The church was built in 1860 and still contains the balcony once used by slaves. This is the thrid steeple to have been lost to lightning, tornado and now a hurricane. The town is 140 miles inland as the crow flies.
