In Makati, San Isidro area, the UNO training center, that trains women to be house maids. They cater to clients in Qatar, Saudi, Hong Kong and Singapore. They are connected to an inhouse manpower agency that places them in these locations (ABC Manpower Agency).
They learn everything from cooking, taking care of children, cleaning, laundry and other skills required from a house maid. The training course takes 18 days. They have a graduation exam where assesors from TESDA (Technical Education and Skills Development Authority, an official certification agency) examine them.
