PALESTINE. May 2002. Jenin Refugee Camp. Occupied West Bank . A family having salvaged mattresses and bedding from the rubble of their homes drive out through the ruins of Jenin Refugee Camp. The camo is home to 14,000 Palestinian refugees. Israeli military bulldozers completely destroyed 140 homes and partially destroyed many more during the operation which lasted for two weeks and during which time approximately 4000 residents were left homeless and at least 52 civilians and combatants were killed.
