WEST BANK. Hebron. December, 2003. An Israeli soldier walks down a ghostly street of vacated Palestinian homes and shops spray-painted with the Star of David by Jewish settlers. Hebron is home to some of the most violent settlers and their movements, including the banned Kach Party, the terrorist Jewish Defense League and the "Jewish Underground," which espouse the expulsion of all Arabs from "Eretz Israel."
