Palestinians gather in the Christian West Bank town of Bethlehem outside of the Manger square church to celebrate the Christian New Year and the coming of the Millenium. This new year's eve celebration represented the largest public event organized by palestinians since the 1993 signing of the Oslo Accords. An estimated four million tourists and pilgrims visited the Holy Land for the millenium.
