CHINA. MAO TSE TUNG during the Long March in 1934, 100 000 men, women, and children started the march pursuaded by TCHANG KAIR CHEK's army. When they reached the hilly countries of northern china they were hardly 10 000 that remained alive from the cold and hunger suffered during the journey. MAO TSE TUNG mounted his little white horse all the time, behind him on another horse is his first wife.
