Shaved heads and full beards are not the only similarities between Jewish and Muslim orthodox. A constant concern with preserving the past and a certain look makes them both "Ahl Kitab", the People of the Book. Sheikh Afif (center) the leader of the Khalevatiya Sufi order is greeted by a follower inside their mosque in Zeita, in Israeli occupied West Bank. The beads round their neck represent the 99 names of God, and they kiss each other's hands, in the way they say Muslim used to greet each other during the Prophet's time.
