IRAN. Tehran. Woman painter Zohre MEHRAN in her studio. On the wall are some of her paintings, representing in a hyper-realist style the huge murals dedicated, throughout the capital, to the "martyrs" of the war vs. Iraq in the 80's. On the right is War minister Mostefa CHAMRANE, on the left Ali Reza MOBAHED-DANESH. Ms MEHRAN has taken out of a draw a nude study which, because of the strict Islamic values prevailing in Iran, can under no circumstances be displayed in public.
