In 2003, Alessandra Sanguinetti visited the Gaza Strip, West Bank, and Abu Dis, Israel to photograph the experience of childhood in Palestine. In 2020 Sanguinetti revisited the region on a project for Save the Children, focusing her lens on three young Palestinian women to encapsulate their experiences growing up amidst conflict in Gaza.
