The jungle is an abandoned natural park in Playas de Tiuana. It is a patch of woodland compressed against the border wall. There is a group of people living in the park in tough conditions, many of whom have been deported from the United States.

I became seduced by the relationship they have with the jungle ́s territory and the mythological quality that arises through their language. Deportation, border-crossings, trafficking, addiction and murder became the daily background noise for well-formed stories with more dignified purposes. With the passing of the days, I became a confessor....
