Exhibition - Middle Years

Philip Jones Griffiths

In his first solo exhibition in London, Philip Jones Griffiths presents previously unseen photographs of his work in Britain taken in the 1960s and 70s. 'Middle Years' depicts social affairs and landmark events over two decades of change and upheaval. Over these years he covers a full spectrum of social and political issues occupying British life. The images document a domestic revolution which shed new light on the work of Jones Griffiths, a photographer whose international fame covering the Viet Nam War can now be put in the context of his equally incisive work at home.
