This September will see the fifth Abergavenny Food Festival taking place in Abergavenny, Wales. The festival lures the world's foremost chefs, food experts and journalists to take part in a weekend of food, debate, discussion and entertainment. Over 15,000 people are expected to visit during the two days, from as far a field as Thailand and New Zealand.

Martin Parr was commissioned to document the food that can be bought and consumed in and around Abergavenny, 'warts and all', for an exhibition on "Real Food" which will be on display in the Abergavenny Castle grounds.
