On Wednesday, June 17th, a gunman entered a landmark African-American church in Charleston, SC and killed nine people. The primary suspect was soon apprehended and was allegedly motivated by white-supremacist ideology. This mass-shooting has rekindled public outcry in regards to gun-control, a highly divisive topic but one that most effects those who are most likely to suffer from gun violence: urban minorities.
