My research in Magnum’s archives draws comparisons between the connotations of the word ‘presence’ and my perception of an accurate visual representation. Most of the images I have chosen look at ‘presence’ within contexts of anonymity.

In order to find suitable examples I began by creating a spider diagram of the synonyms of presence and then adding personal associations of the word.
