Former Panamanian dictator Manuel Noriega has died at the age of 83. A career military officer who had worked with the CIA, Noriega ruled Panama from 1983 to 1989, when a US forces invaded, captured him. In the US he was charged with drug trafficking, racketeering and money laundering.
