Coming from behind with less than 40 seconds in the game, the New York Giants have won Super Bowl XLII, defeating the unbeaten New England Patriots with a final score of 17 – 14.
An upset that will be remembered by many New York sports fans as epoch, the win was celebrated late Tuesday morning with a traditional ticker-tape parade. Just days before the excitement of the big game, Magnum Photographer Paolo Pellegrin was on assignment for the New York Times Magazine to photograph the Giants behind the glamour of the field in their locker room.
