During his time photographing in Iraq, Thomas Dworzak came across some of the thousands of Georgian soldiers who'd been sent to serve alongside the US and Iraqi Military. Until these soldiers returned home to face the Russian invasion, Georgia had contributed more men to the coalition in Iraq than all other nations save for the US and UK. Furthermore, though their numbers were few when compared to those of their allies the Georgian force represented a high proportion of the Georgian military.
