Consignment - Really Inside the Actors Studio 

Lee Strasberg, known as the chief of "method acting" or the Stanislavsky method of acting, was born this week (Nov. 14) in 1901. A member of the highly successful Group Theatre since 1931, he joined the Actors Studio in 1948 and was artistic director until his death in 1982. Magnum presents the great actors, writers, and theater people who have participated in the Actors Studio throughout the years.
