Gunter Sachs, German-born industrialist, photographer and playboy, has died at his home in Gstaad from an apparent self-inflicted gunshot wound at the age of 78. Sachs had been suffering from a degenerative disease, probably Alzheimer’s, which may be the reason for his decision to take his own life.
Sachs came to fame in the 1960’s, during his three-year marriage Brigitte Bardot.
