Bruno Barbey 

The city of Essaouira, mythic port of Mogador, is the land of many legends.
It is said that the "mysticism in which the city bathes draws its source from the
rural magique of the Regragas".

The Regragas is a brotherhood, founded in the 7th century . Seven men, from Jbal Lahdi,
the Iron Mountain, were said to have recognized in Sidna Mohamed the messenger
of Allah. Allah gave them the mission to islamize Maghreb. Since then, once a year
the descendents have created a ritual along a route, the Daour, in the northern province of Essaouira ,
of visiting the sanctuaries, the Zaouia, of...
