These images complete the coverage that I distributed earlier this year on Abdul Sattar Edhi and the Edhi Foundation.

Now that Mother Theresa has died, who can take her place in the world's imagination as the embodiment of selfless commitment to the poor and suffering?
In my view Abdul Sattar Edhi should long ago have recieved acknowledgement for what he has achieved for underprivileged and sick people. As it is he is one of the most famous men in Pakistan, but little known outside the country, particularly in the West.

He is a remarkable man, a great man, and these photographs...
