Each fall when the full moon comes to Pushkar in India's Rajasthan province, usually in October of November, tens of thousands of pilgrims from all over the country descend on the otherwise sleepy village for several days of festivities.

Pushkar is the epitome of Hindu mythology, religion and culture is mixed together. Tradition has it that Lord Brahma dropped a Lotus flower from his hand while searching for a place to perform Yagna. Thus Pushkar is honoured with the unique temple to Brahma, among its hundereds of others.
