Academy Award winning actor George C. Scott died last week at his home outside of Los Angeles at the age of 71. Scott, who starred in over 25 films and received numerous awards, was probably best known for his portayal of General George S Patton in "Patton" (for which he received the Academy Award) and as an anti-communist leader in "Doctor Strangelove".
