Mulu National Park, Sarawak: Malaysia Ejects Last Forest People.

As a consequence of Malaysia's fast-track drive for development the last fragments of tropical rain forest that have not been destroyed by forest fires are under threat. This threat comes from Malaysia's scheme to sell off forest timber and then convert the forest to oil palm plantations. Much has been written about this process, little about the plight of those whose lives have been undermined.
