October 8th,1997, is the 30th anniversary of the death of Ernesto "Che" Guevara.

Enclosed,pls find, a large selection of portraits shot by René Burri in 1963 in Guevara's office at the Ministry of Industry in La Habana.
One shot from this series (no 3) of Che and his cigar has become a mythical photo published thousands of times worldwide. However, the complete series gives an intimate and vivid image of Che,the revolutionary legend ,at work at the ministry, which he soon abandoned for guerrilla warfare in Boliva,until his death in an ambush.
