On November 20, 2009, during Paris Photo week, Magnum Photos opened its new gallery in the heart of Saint Germain des Prés.
The opening of a space at the whirling core of Saint Germain takes the collective right back to its origins which were deeply rooted in Paris's Left Bank.
Gallery St Germain's main goal will be to connect the incomparable drive of photographers with the receptive minds and souls of an audience eager to discover and sense our world.
