Patrick Zachmann 

Patrick Zachmann made his first trip to China in 1982, making a black and white report on the native cinema industry. Black and white photography stayed with him through various visits during the next dozen years, seeming representative of the monotonous traditional country that was in front of him, then in 2002, after many years of absence he returned to find that colour had blossomed with the opening up of the country and he started a project to photograph the night.
Not a sleepwalker, nor an insomniac, not really even a night person Zachmann simply likes to photograph the atmospheres and...
