Both Israelis and Palestinians seem to be hostage to their radicals whose actions are focused in Gaza. Hamas and the Islamic Jihad militants on one side, Orthodox Jewish settlers on the other, influence the political agenda of their respective nations to a larger degree than their numbers should allow them to.
