Paolo Pellegrin has been announced as the winner of the 2007 Leica European Publishers Award for Photography, for his book project 'As I was Dying'.
The competition is a unique collaboration between seven European Publishers - Actes Sud (France), Apeiron (Greece), Dewi Lewis Publishing (Great Britain), Edition Braus (Germany), Lunwerg Editores (Spain), Mets & Schilt (The Netherlands) and Peliti Associati (Italy), who will now simultaneously publish Pellegrin's project, in book form, in their own country.
