August 27th, 1966. Farewell ceremony held on the grounds of the Capitol building for 25.000 soldiers of the ROK White Horse Division, who were about to leave for the Vietnam war. President Chung Hee PARK, a retired Army Officer, reviewed the assembled troops. The Division paraded through the city and reached the Stadium, where the soldiers met up with their relatives.
