The Institut Pasteur in Paris will celebrate from 5 to 10th October 1987 its centennial anniversary of its creation, known throughout the world for its biomedical research. Its was created on the 14th Nov 1888 by Louis Pasteur and has a staff of 1800 (of which 450 researchers). It contains a hospital ward, various laboratories, and a plant manufacturing vaccines.
