Around 12 armed men identified as members of the Ukrainian nationalists PRAVY SECTOR opened fire on the voters outside the town hall in Krasnoarmeisk. The voters, all disarmed civilians, were protesting because the Ukrainian gunmen forbid them to vote for the referendum, by blocking the access to the City Hall and by threatening the people with weapons. 2 persons were shot dead, Vladim Khoudich (38 years old, married, with two children) was killed by a bullet in the throat, and Yuri Nikolenko (born 1966, from Krasnoarsk), and 1 badly wounded by a bullet in his leg, Rouslan Serguey Pilipenko (miner, 32 years).
