MEXICO. Guerrero. 2021. A poppy farmer in Malinaltepec, a Mepha community, where the history of the poppy is connected to the history of migration. The families that do not emigrate to work as agricultural farmers dedicate themselves to cultivating the flower. The poppy allows many of these regions to subsist, since the absence of support from the state generates a marginalized and desolate territory.
