Horses roam around Magaras. Many hay fields were lost due to the forest fires but are essential for the locals to be able to feed their horses and cows in the winter. Because of the immense drought the gras of hay fields grew very small. Life in this region revolves around the taiga. It is the source of berries, mushrooms, meat, timber and firewood.
