The Lithuanian Riflemen's Union has received thousands of requests to join it since Russia started its full scale war against Ukraine in February, 2022. Edita joined this paramilitary organization a year ago. She is a lecturer in geodesy at the University: “At this age, I have found another niche in which I can fulfill myself, especially during there dangerous times. With the Russian invasion to Ukraine, the meaning of training has taken on a whole new level. I feel more anxiety than peace.”
