Stuart Franklin
THAILAND. Phnang Nga province. A forensic team from the Metropolitan police, UK uses the sophisticated Interpol fingerprinting protocol to identify victims. Here the outer skin layer of a childÕs finger, loosened by being in water, is placed over the rubber glove of a police officer so that prints can be taken. In all 17 police forces worked on identifying tsunami victims at the temporary morgue at the Wat Yan Yao Temple about 90 km north of Phuket. 2005.
