In Kwa Zulu just below the Mozambique border a strange joint disease afflicts 50% of the population around the small town of Mseleni. On pension day, people come in from surrounding villages frequently walking on their knees, often unaided, to collect their pensions from a mobile truck which is protected by armed guards.
