British Telecommunications (BT), one of the largest electricity consumers in the UK, set a target of reducing C02 emissions by 25% by 2010 reaching an amazing 46% from energy use and transport combined by 2004. To drive its massive satellite dishes and aerials the company recently contracted to buy nearly all its energy needs from wind, solar, wave, hydropower and combined heat and power. 2004.
