Libyan dissidents make forced confessions which were broadcast on state television. It is believed that all were executed for their opposition to the Gadaffi regime.
These stills were taken from an old Betamax tape which had been kept surreptitiously by the brother of one of the victims. Hidden away for decades, it was only until the Libyan uprising that he was able to smuggle these out to the West.
