GB. Somerset. Moorland a village in The Somerset Levels, a sparsely populated coastal plain and wetland area of central Somerset, in South West England, running south from the Mendip Hills to the Blackdown Hills.

In February 2014 during some of the worst weather since records began. Large parts of England have endured the wettest January since records began, according to new figures released by the Met Office. The record rainfall has meant many areas, including complete villages and vast areas of farmland within the Somerset Levels have been flooded.

The flooded village of Moorland is now a ghost village, after flooding forced residents to evacuate in early February.

Inside the home of Jane Scott's home, Penrose. Jane was evacuated on the 7th of February and has only been able to get access to her home recently.

Jane put a sandbag down the toilet before she left to stop sewage.
