GB. Liverpool. Anfield Stadium. The home of Liverpool Football Club. Flowers placed in the ground and on the gates after the disaster at Hillsborough Stadium in Sheffield during an FA cup match. As a result of people being crushed on the terraces, 95 people were killed. The following inquiry recommended that the stadiums be converted to all seater grounds. 1989.
